Learn portraiture with oil paints. This 6-hour course will help you paint a portrait of a reference image. It will give you a novel step-by-step approach to composing and painting portraits (yes, it will involve no grid method or no tracing). Open to all skill level.

• Scale, position and proportions

• Drawing, inking-in and underpainting

• Study of light - Understanding shadows and highlights

• Color mixing of skin tones - Understanding values and saturation
